About East Ontario Academy

A warm and frank welcome to you:

East Ontario is an educational organization with a high momentum to excel in providing direct and to-the-point training for people who are seeking to advance their life or career with learning.

As of December 2022, and anticipated till Dec 2024 the main medium of delivering the courses will be online while the campus gets built on the 12,172 SF parcel of Land provided and permitted by kind philanthropists to build the first space-efficient campus equipped with aqua-gym and laboratories for onsite research.

Mission

The creation of the East Ontario Academy by the Eduphan Foundation is to serve people in the full materialization of their talents and aspirations during their lifetime.

Many are not blessed with extra wealth to invest in education and may need more initial resources to get on the path to prosperity. Poverty, war and displacement, immigration, past history, loss of parents, or other unfortunate phenomena should not be a burden on a person’s path to achieving their dreams and performing at full capacity.

Making education attainable and affordable while not sacrificing quality is the goal here.

Reaching out to the less fortunate and delivering the same or superior quality of education as world-class organizations and universities is the objective that East Ontario and Eduphan Foundation are set to achieve.

Current educational systems are meant to cover many subjects that are deemed to be helpful for the masses. Focused training programs and research projects at East Ontario are tailored to save time, energy, and resources in preparing motivated and talented individuals to address those demands and fulfill highly sought-after occupations.

While assuring the highest quality of education and competence for our trainees to collectively respect the prestige of the brand, traditional standardized exams and study systems are complemented with flexible and unique methods of evaluation that incorporate creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving.

At East Ontario, every research project targets a current problem directly. Every solution devised is destined to be the seed for a successful enterprise, owned and implemented by the parties involved in such an endeavor.

East Ontario is an educational venture with portions of its income that exceed the investment into research and development devoted to its parent not-for-profit organization EduPhan to benefit education and amelioration of lives of underprivileged individuals especially orphans, minorities, and people whose past may have adverse effects on their future prosperity. EduPhan is dedicated to reducing and targeting the elimination of poverty via enhancing, promoting, and providing education for orphans and many others who may not otherwise receive the highest quality education.

Vision:

As the 21st Century style St Eugene campus with the aqua-gym and labs gets built for in-person research activities, delivery of educational material is commenced and continued on the permanent path of the new era medium of choice for education. We hand-pick the best of every trade, in terms of knowledge and skills and more importantly with their ability to deliver the knowledge with the most efficient strategies to the learners.

While East Ontario is neither the oldest institute nor the most famous at the onset to deliver the same content, it is determined to climb to the top of the list when it comes to the efficiency of learning and employability of the knowledge and skills delivered.

East Ontario would never compete for so-called Ranking since we believe that the criteria for ranking such as size in Square meters or hectares, number of students, and quantity of publications do not determine the efficiency and employability of the knowledge earned.

At East Ontario, the effort is to make every innovation and invention a success story with a viable business model. The goal is that every course taken at East Ontario assists in taking the learner’s life a step higher in terms of income, comfort, awareness, or performance.

The board of directors has devised the institute to, of course upon going through the proper governmental channels for full accreditation, become a formal degree-granting university.

Currently, the first draft for obtaining permits for the first Graduate Degree is under review to be submitted to the Honorable Ministry of Education and the respectable Postsecondary Education Quality Assessment Board of the province of Ontario. At this moment, there are absolutely no claims to be a university, nor career college according to the laws of Ontario, nor any insinuations about being a degree-granting institute till the entire process takes its full legal course and all the appropriate permits and accreditations are obtained.

However, the activities and courses offered by East Ontario are permitted as exempt from the private career colleges process as explained above.

Refund Policy:

Courses can be dropped up to 9 calendar days after the commencement of the class for a full refund. Sincere feedback would be highly appreciated in helping us improve the courses and teaching but is not mandatory for a full refund within a reasonable processing time. Like most other institutes no refund is possible after the permitted period.

Retaking courses and examinations

Many instructors allow retakes of the examination and the students are allowed participation in the courses that they have previously taken free up to 2 years after completion if the course is still offered. They would also have limited access to the professors and resources such as social groups of the alumni of the same course so that they form a network of professionals to assist each other on the subject matter. This is one of the great assets of East Ontario Leaners that allows them to utilize not only the knowledge but also the wealth of friends made during the East Ontario studies.

eVerifiable Certification

The strong witness to your abilities, knowledge learned and skills earned at East Ontario is your eVerifable Certificate of Course Completion. This tamper-proof document shows that you and only you are the bearer of the uniquely numbered certificate of course completion and have the verifiable knowledge and skills of the course you have completed.

How would potential employers see you?

Knowledgeable, skillful, efficient and to the point, and honest.

East Ontario courses are designed to embed efficiency in the mindset of the learners. Courses avoid time-consuming side tracks and focus on what is important, what comes in handy at work, what to look for, and what to be aware of. Once you complete each course, you must be ready to tackle related tasks and that is the litmus test of success for your instructor.
